JAGGAER's AI Co-Pilot Ushers in New Era for Procurement

JAGGAER has set its sights on transforming procurement processes, highlighting this mission during its REV2025 conference, which took place at the Turnberry Resort in Miami.
The event saw the unveiling of their advanced AI strategy and celebrated advancements in industry innovation over two dynamic days.
JAI: The future of procurement operations
The centrepiece of the REV2025 conference was undoubtedly JAI, JAGGAER's AI orchestrator, poised to act as a strategic co-pilot for procurement professionals.
JAI transcends the basic functionalities of traditional chatbots by incorporating intelligent features such as conversational Q&A, anomaly detection in purchase order invoices, content generation powered by AI and comprehensive workflow orchestration, all seamlessly integrated within the JAGGAER One platform.
What differentiates JAI is its progressive development trajectory, transitioning from an assistant to co-pilot and eventually an autopilot.
During its co-pilot phase, JAI aims to offer real-time insights, detect outlying trends and suggest actionable strategies in areas such as sourcing, contracting and supplier management.
The projected autopilot stage of JAI will handle intricate workflows autonomously, allowing procurement experts to dedicate their focus to strategic management while preserving the essential "Human in the Loop" methodology.
Strategic innovations from leadership
CEO Andrew Roszko, alongside his executive team, laid out the ambitious strategic vision for JAGGAER.
He emphasised the company’s sustained progress, highlighted by four foundational commitments: attentively listening to customer needs, empowering personnel, executing plans with accountability and fostering innovation through product development and strategic acquisitions.
JAGGAER’s impressive global influence is underpinned by managing more than US$3tn in spend and nurturing strategic partnerships that drive innovation and talent development.
Chief Digital & AI Officer Gopinath Polavarapu and Chief Product Officer Jon Lawrence highlighted JAI’s capacity for continuous improvement through rapid iteration and collaboration with customers.
Realism in AI adoption
Patrick Reymann from IDC enriched Day 2 with a realistic assessment, advising participants to distinguish AI realities from hype.
His forecast that 70% of procurement roles could substantially change within three years served as a compelling call for procurement professionals to actively engage with emerging technologies.
Jon Lawrence presented JAGGAER’s actionable roadmap, highlighting supplier intelligence, source-to-contract and procure-to-pay capabilities, stressing that AI should be foundational rather than peripheral.
He introduced promising new features such as "Smart Quote" and AI-driven account code suggestions.
VP of Product Management Alastair McMullan showcased the Guided Intake Experience in version 25.3, streamlining procurement for non-specialists.
This tool orchestrates complex workflows to make procurement processes more intuitive, aiming to democratise procurement expertise organisation-wide.
Showcasing customer triumphs
REV2025 did not only forecast future possibilities but also celebrated present achievements in AI’s transformative capability.
Five awards were presented focusing on critical areas such as AI decision-making, elevating procurement to a strategic level, ESG risk and compliance navigation and innovation in supplier intelligence.
The conference reinforced JAGGAER’s dedication to industry evolution as evidenced by the latest AI-powered enhancements to its platform suite.
Celebrating leadership in procurement
The “Pros to Know” awards honoured 16 leading procurement and supply chain figures for their roles in fostering industry innovation.
Excellence was recognised across categories, including Procure-to-Pay Achievement, Supply Chain Resilience and Compliance, AI-Driven Procurement Excellence, Source-to-Contract Achievement and Industry Leadership in ESG Practices.
The path forward
REV2025 concluded on an optimistic note with Andrew Roszko and Chief Revenue Officer Joe Elliott underscoring excitement from both new and existing clients.
Their commitment to creating industry-specific AI agents tailored to specific needs, such as BOM-based agents for cost analysis, signals a move away from generic solutions.
The leadership team’s commitment to act on customer feedback and propel innovation suggests that REV2025 marks merely the start of JAGGAER’s AI-driven journey.
With JAI taking a leading role and a clear strategic path ahead, the future of procurement will be characterised by increased intelligence, collaboration and strategic alignment.
