REV2025 Day One: JAGGAER's Ambitious AI-Powered Roadmap

JAGGAER' leadership team made a series of game-changing announcements on Day One of REV2025.
Hosted at the luxurious Turnberry Resort in Miami, the event gathered procurement, supply chain and finance leaders to explore the cutting-edge capabilities set to advance procurement technology.
A leading figure in the procurement sector, JAGGAER attracted industry professionals from around the globe for its flagship REV2025 event.
Participants engaged in insightful sessions designed to share best practices and technology solutions, all aimed at driving tangible outcomes with innovative tools, particularly focusing on the latest advancements brought forward by the JAGGAER team.
During the opening keynote, JAGGAER introduced JAI, an intelligent AI co-pilot designed to revolutionise procurement processes. Pronounced 'Jay,' the technology is poised to transform how procurement professionals engage with AI to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Vision for collaborative innovation
JAGGAER leaders began by delivering an overview of the company's current trajectory and future prospects.
New CEO Andrew Roszko shared insights into what he described as an evolving environment of collaboration and customer-focused innovation.
"It's been phenomenal to see such a high degree of collaboration, customer-first attitude and a strong desire to innovate," he emphasised, highlighting the organisation's momentum.
He attributed much of this progress to the recent enrichment of the leadership team, stating: "The pace of innovation that I've seen internally and externally is really accelerating. Accelerated. I think, from my perspective, we're off to a great start."
Andrew outlined four principal commitments for JAGGAER's future: a proactive engagement with customers and partners; empowering the team for growth; executing plans with precision; and fostering innovation through product development and strategic mergers.
This was a call for attendees to engage, share feedback and cultivate new relationships, with community and collaboration being the conference's guiding principles.
Global foundation powers AI transformation
JAGGAER's robust global foundation sets the stage for its AI-driven initiatives. The business manages more than US$3tn in spend, engaging with more than 13 million suppliers across 55 countries and supporting 37 of the Fortune 100 companies.
Andrew acknowledged the instrumental role of VISTA Equity Partners, JAGGAER's owners since last August, praising their focus on innovation, alongside talent cultivationāessential elements for any business' prosperity.
Discussions at the event emphasised the transformative potential of AI, especially generative and agentic models. Andrew recognised the diverse reactions to AI technologies, from optimism to scepticism, while underscoring the undeniable opportunity they present. Supporting this narrative, Gopinath Polavarapu, Chief Digital & AI Officer, discussed the impact and dynamic evolution of AI in the procurement sector.
Gopinath pointed out how Gen AI models like OpenAI's Sora have transitioned from creating awkward outputs to sophisticated, realistic mediaāadvancements made possible through larger datasets and refined feedback mechanisms.
Introducing JAI, he communicated a vision for ongoing AI improvement within procurement: "In procurement, there's a lot of aftermath, so having human first is more important than AI first."
Meet JAI ā the AI conductor of procurement's future
Jon Lawrence, JAGGAER's Chief Product Officer, outlined an ambitious vision where AI goes beyond simply being a tool, instead evolving into a partner that enhances organisational value.
Central to this vision is JAI, which he likened to a conductor orchestrating a seamless flow out of fragmented processes.
Jon presented a dynamic roadmap for JAI, highlighting its ability to adapt to organisational needs. "JAI allows you to evolve at a pace that's more conducive to your organisation."
JAI's journey begins as an assistant, automating mundane tasks and offering specialised guidance. By the year's end, it aims to evolve into a co-pilot that autonomously manages complex workflows in "autopilot" mode. JAGGAER's distinct approach is its dedication to co-development, where AI is iteratively trained and refined through real-world use.
Attendees were encouraged to join early-access initiatives to test new capabilities and contribute to refining JAI in practical applications. The conference's clear takeaway was a call for collaborative, data-focused and continuously evolving procurement practices. With JAI, JAGGAER seeks to empower procurement teams to transcend operational challenges and bolster resilience and growth strategies.
Jon concluded: "We want to encourage you and offer you the opportunity to be a part of this early access… AI is on, but we're trying to take friction off."
