Mapping the future for procurement

The source-to-pay specialists culminated REV2025 with 'Fast Forward with JAGGAER'. During this session, Andrew Roszko, on his third day as CEO, revisited the highlights of the event, accompanied by his leadership cohort.

Andrew reflected on valuable feedback from customers over the course of three engaging days, affirming his initial promise to prioritise attentive listening.

A considerable segment of REV2025 was devoted to exploring AI's potential to revolutionise procurement processes.

A notable conversation during the event was Andrew's interaction with Ed from the University of Colorado, who emphasised "he's already doing agentic AI, he's just doing it with humans," thus illustrating the prospect of deploying AI agents for routine tasks, enabling human capital to focus on strategic, value-driven purposes.

AI transformation at the forefront

Concluding his statements, Andrew highlighted JAGGAER's lengthy tenure in procurement yet noted a palpable sensation of rejuvenation and new beginnings.

He acknowledged room for improvement but reiterated, "a true sense of a new beginning and a fresh start that we're just getting started."

This renewal was mirrored by Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Joe Elliott, expressing the broad enthusiasm for JAGGAER among new recruits and long-time patrons alike.

"Whether it be a new employee that had departed from a 20-year career to a long-time customer that shares hard news with us, they all see the optimism and the potential, the promise that exists at JAGGAER and better us to bring forward shared value with our clients."

Chief Digital and AI Officer Gopinath 'GP' Polavarapu, known as GP, addressed how customer feedback would be harnessed to drive JAGGAER's future commitments in procurement.

This included specific strategies to respond to customer demands. He declared an initiative to improve customer competence using JAGGAER University as a platform to disseminate AI trends and fundamentals.

Crucially, GP acknowledged customer calls for sector-specific AI solutions: "Customers have asked us for vertical-specific agents, not just horizontal agents. So we will go back and work on those," he affirmed. "I'm pumped up with all the excitement and energy that you guys have, and I am looking forward to working with all of you."

Jon Lawrence, Chief Product Officer at JAGGAER

He shared: "The thing I'm most excited about is I really want to keep this going, and we're going to keep doing it, especially with JAI behind us."
