Meet the Judges: Ninian Wilson, CEO, Vodafone Procurement

Ninian Wilson, Group Procurement Director and CEO of Vodafone Procurement
Leading the supply chain organisation within Vodafone Plc, Ninian Wilson is accountable for all technology procurement and indirect spend, supporting all 26 Vodafone operating companies, and is a board member.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Wilson has seen the Procurement industry evolve from the back office to the forefront of business success. His career began in the supplies and transport function at British Gas, but his first senior management role began at Transco in 1995. This led him to Cable & Wireless in 2000, before stepping into his first CPO role at the age of 34.
His last role before joining Vodafone was Royal Mail where he quickly learned what it takes to make a huge workforce of 158,000 people. In 2016, Wilson became the CEO of Vodafone’s procurement arm of the business - one of his proudest achievements so far in his career.
