Meet the Judges: Benn Godfrey, Rolls-Royce VP of Procurement

Launching the first Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards in 2024, the awards will debut at the Business Design Centre (DBC) on Day 1 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE London 2024 (24, September).

Benn Godfrey, Vice President of Procurement (Raw Material and Forming) at Rolls-Royce

An expert in procurement, operations, and supply chain, Benn Godfrey will be the fourth judge of The Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards alongside, Ninian Wilson, Alisa Bornstein and Jim Townsend. 

Godfrey has diverse experience working with multi-billion dollar digital sourcing events, leading cost-out control towers, managing the biggest supplier relationships in aerospace, responding to acute crises and improving large operational supply chains through lean production systems.

He is also an advocate for value-based procurement with purpose, co-chairing the sustainable procurement group defining the sustainability agenda for Rolls-Royce. He is also active in the wider aerospace supply chain with the International Aerospace Environmental Group. 

In his current role as Vice President of Procurement (Raw Material and Forming) at Rolls-Royce, Godfrey leads the civil procurement of raw materials, castings and forgings. He is also the group’s Procurement Chair for Sustainability and Leads the element committee and revert group.
