o9 Solutions, a leading AI-powered platform for integrated business planning and decision-making for the enterprise, is going from trength to strength.

Real-time solutions for enterprise supply networks

The Digital Brain Solution, as well as its Supply Chain Control Tower, have been recognised for their ability to help companies monitor demand, supply and inventory levels in real time and gain early visibility into potential delays or disruptions.

The o9 Supply Chain Control Tower integrates with o9's Supply Chain Planning and Analytics and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions to align planning and decision-making across financial, commercial, procurement and supply chain functions. Leveraging Digital Twin technology, the o9 Supply Chain Control Tower creates a digitised model of an organisation's end-to-end supply chain network to strengthen scenario planning and risk management.

Chakri Gottemukkala, Co-Founder and CEO at o9, says: "The o9 Supply Chain Control Tower is uniquely positioned to help the world's largest enterprises sense and understand variations across their vast supply network, identify and execute solutions in real-time and then measure and analyse the results to improve future decision-making.

"We believe that our Control Tower's unique capabilities in addition to our commitment to continuously enhancing the o9 Digital Brain platform with next-generation technologies is the reason for o9's recognition in the Nucleus Control Tower Technology Value Matrix 2025."

Take, for example, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan, which selected o9 to support its transformation by enabling data-driven management and maximising the utilisation of data assets. This will facilitate business efficiency, advanced analysis and improved decision-making.

With the implementation of the o9 Digital Brain platform, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan will have the ability to create supply plans which are more accurate and efficient – while taking into account factors like production and warehouse capacity, material procurement and logistics constraints such as numbers of trucks.

Why KDP went 'middle-out' instead of 'top-down'

Navin Chander, Vice President of S&OP and Customer Service at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), describes how the US$12bn North American beverage leader is transforming planning thanks to o9.

With 125 brands, 30+ manufacturing sites, 100+ DSD distribution centres and a 29,000-strong workforce, scale and complexity demanded a bold approach.

According to Navin, the central challenge was designing a supply chain capable of capturing the earliest indicators of risk or opportunity and connecting them seamlessly to every operational decision across the organisation.

Rather than start with demand planning, KDP went "middle-out" with supply planning on o9. By leveraging existing demand signals, building material forecasts in SAP and establishing o9 as the planning engine, KDP unlocked quick execution wins while laying the foundation for expansion upstream and downstream.

Navin explained that this strategy generated early momentum through better demand-supply synchronisation, enhanced visibility into demand stability and more effective inventory planning.

He adds: "Weekly S&OE cycles now focus less on identifying risks and more on mitigating them. Even with challenges like strikes at manufacturing sites, we’ve maintained service levels and launched new products successfully."
