Geniemode's US$50m Funding set to Transform Apparel Sourcing

Geniemode, the design-led apparel sourcing platform, has secured more than US$50m in a Series C funding round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management.
Other key investors include Fundamentum, Paramark Ventures and existing backer Info Edge Ventures.
The funding supports Geniemodeās expansion into new markets and enhances its technology-driven supply chain solutions, reinforcing its role as a sourcing partner for major brands and retailers worldwide.
At its core, Geniemode operates an asset-light sourcing model, which means it does not own manufacturing facilities but instead connects brands with vetted suppliers. This approach offers flexibility, cost efficiency and faster turnaround timesākey advantages in a rapidly shifting global supply chain landscape.
The company integrates AI-driven design innovation with procurement, enabling brands to access data-backed trend insights, digital prototyping and predictive analytics. This ensures brands not only respond quickly to consumer demand but also reduce waste and improve sustainability.
Amit Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of Geniemode, highlights this as a key differentiator: āAt Geniemode, we are redefining global sourcing by seamlessly integrating technology, AI-driven design innovation and a sustainable, agile supply chain to help brands and retailers stay ahead of the curve.
"This investment accelerates our mission to build the most efficient, transparent and scalable sourcing ecosystem, empowering brands with AI-powered design capabilities, speed, flexibility and responsible sourcing solutions.ā
Geniemodeās procurement process is built to address inefficiencies in traditional sourcing.
By connecting more than 100 global retailers with in excess of 200 verified suppliers, the company has reduced lead times by up to 40%. This means brands can launch trend-driven collections faster without sacrificing quality or sustainability.
Global expansion and the China+1 strategy
A significant portion of this funding will fuel Geniemodeās international growth.
The company is already strengthening its presence in Turkey, Vietnam, Indonesia and Egyptākey markets for apparel manufacturing. This expansion aligns with the China+1 strategy, where brands diversify their sourcing beyond China to build more resilient supply chains.
For retailers, the need for a reliable procurement partner has never been greater. Rising production costs, supply chain disruptions and shifting consumer expectations demand a sourcing model that is both agile and transparent.
Sridhar Sankararaman, Managing Director at Multiples Alternate Asset Management, sees Geniemode as a transformative force in this space: āGlobal macro trends are reshaping the apparel sourcing landscape, driving a rebalancing of supply chains.
"Our investment in Geniemode is part of our active strategy to back leading new-age businesses that are disrupting large markets using technology.
"Backed by the vision of founders Amit and Tanuj, and their over two decades of sourcing experience, Geniemode offers a true 360-degree solution to global brands and retailers.”

The broader B2B ecommerce sector is experiencing significant growth, with a projected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.7% from 2022 to 2030. Within this space, Geniemode’s commitment to sustainable and data-driven procurement positions it as a key player in the evolving apparel industry.
Amit's statement on LinkedIn reflects the company’s broader ambition: “From day one, our mission has been clear: to fix an outdated sourcing model that no longer serves modern brands.
"Long lead times, lack of transparency and rigid supply chains have held businesses back for too long. We knew sourcing could be smarter, faster and more sustainable.”
