Global supply chain interruptions

During the panel, Godfrey and Naughton discussed a range of topics including:

  • The Suez Canal
  • COVID-19
  • Whether all global supply chain interruptions are negative
  • How to future-proofing the supply chain
  • Whether planning should be technology or people led

“Visibility always helps. It's a key topic. The more you can see, the more you can measure, and the more you can take action. But it’s also important to understand that there are some things that you will never see, and you have to accept that and acknowledge it and maybe start to build more contingency into your supply chain and your sourcing,” commented Godfrey.
