With a career in procurement and supply chain spanning almost 25 years, Ahmed Sedky is well-positioned to provide expert knowledge and insights into the industry. Sedky is results-orientated with a track record of driving cost savings, supplier performance, and supply chain stability. 

Sedky is the current Vice President of Procurement at Al Ghurair Investment and his expertise lies in team management, contract negotiations, engineering processes, digitisation, and implementing supplier scorecard systems to improve on-time delivery, reduce quality issues, and mitigate risks.

Having successfully managed agreements worth more than US$680mn, Sedky has a track record of implementing strategic sourcing plans resulting in 25% reduction in procurement costs, and a 35% in supplier performance. He is also well-versed in leading multicultural teams in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, United States, UK, and Egypt.
