Lenovo and Rejoose: Data-Driven Procurement for Net-Zero

Lenovo has strengthened its sustainability strategy by partnering with IT carbon data platform Rejoose, becoming the first global IT hardware vendor to establish a structured integration with the platform.
This openness of sharing data with its customers and partners means Lenovo is creating a space in which more transparent and data-driven procurement decisions can take place – while also helping teams make strides in their attempts to reach net-zero goals by providing greater accuracy.
Rejoose has become a vital figure in making this possible, as it's known as the foremost aggregated source of validated IT carbon data – leading the charge in transforming carbon reporting accuracy.
Matthew Ruskin, Chief Commercial Officer of Rejoose, says: "This collaboration reflects Lenovo's continued leadership in addressing climate challenges through data transparency.
"By automating access to validated carbon data, we're helping organisations make smarter purchasing decisions, whether that's reducing carbon cost, improving their environmental credentials or aligning IT procurement with broader business transformation goals."
Automated carbon data delivery transforms procurement decisions
By directly exchanging Lenovo's emission data and syndicating it with Rejoose's platform, it automatically improves accuracy and delivery speed for end-users, channel partners and vendors.
Customers will be able to obtain reliable data faster and at the point of purchase – which will support not only financial but environmental decision-making as well. It will also help to relieve some of the pressure on the end of year audit.
With the new working relationship, it will provide the support for customers which are moving towards net-zero, by giving them clear carbon impact data at the point of purchase – which is now a vital tool in today's market.
This partnership solidifies Lenovo's standing as a vendor dedicated to quantifiable climate initiatives and amplifies Rejoose's mission to drive the IT sector toward comprehensive carbon reporting.
Through this collaboration, Rejoose's direct data coverage across tech products expands from 3% to 11%, minimising dependence on manual research and AI-based estimates while simplifying access to authenticated environmental impact information.
"Transparency is key to driving meaningful climate action," adds Virginie Le Barbu, Global Sustainability Director, International Markets, Lenovo.
"By partnering with Rejoose, we're equipping our customers with the carbon insights they need to accelerate their journey toward net-zero."
Industry recognition reinforces sustainability leadership
The company was also awarded an AA+ rating on the 2025 Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index, the index's second-highest rating. Within its industry, Lenovo achieved the highest score in the environmental and social areas.
