Scaling mid-market governance

Gatekeeper is there to assist with the shift happening in how mid-market teams manage contracts and third parties.

Throughout its customer base over 2025, it saw 1.17 million workflow cards submitted, more than double the previous year. 100,000 contracts were created and 40,000 vendors onboarded, while AI agents reviewed contracts and accelerated approvals as governance frameworks were deployed across industries.

Across the course of the year, its users processed a number of tasks:

  • 1.17 million workflow cards submitted, up from 500,000 last year.
  • 100,000 contracts and 40,000 vendors created across the customer community.
  • 173,000+ documents signed through Gatekeeper eSign and the DocuSign integration.
  • 12,870 contracts extracted using Lumin Extract, a fivefold increase from last year. Signed PDFs became structured, searchable records automatically.
  • 135 best-practice workflows deployed, including ESG, DORA and SIG Lite frameworks.
  • 15,600 vendors had their TIN validated automatically.
  • 4,014 saved views created, allowing teams to build exactly the lens they need into their portfolios.
  • 184 unique Smart Forms in use across the community, with Due Diligence, DORA, Modern Slavery, Business Resilience and ESG leading deployment.

Autonomous execution and AI efficiency

Gatekeeper’s 2025 release cycle, spanning 14 major launches, shows its drive to change passive contract storage to autonomous execution. At the heart of this evolution is LuminIQ, an AI engine designed to handle heavy operational lifting while maintaining human oversight.

The platform introduced specialised workflow agents, including a read-only Review Agent and an autonomous Approve Agent that triggers actions based on predefined criteria.

The real-world impact is already measurable: CompSource Mutual deployed these agents for budget and contract reviews, securing a 95% reduction in executive review time and saving 636 hours annually.

Beyond workflow automation, Gatekeeper supercharged its data pipelines. The updated Lumin Extract processed nearly 13,000 contracts in 2025, automatically transforming raw uploads into complete, risk-assessed vendor records.

To support this rapid automation, Gatekeeper fortified its enterprise infrastructure with a rebuilt Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system, SCIM provisioning and pre-built compliance workflows for ESG and DORA.

Along with a highly adopted new custom dashboards and seamless OneDrive integrations, Gatekeeper’s 2025 updates successfully eliminate procurement bottlenecks while tightening global governance.

Rewriting the compliance narrative

When new legislation hits, compliance teams traditionally face weeks of manual labour, scraping legacy systems, reviewing clauses and building tracking spreadsheets.

Gatekeeper’s LuminIQ rewrites this narrative, turning an organisation's entire contract portfolio into a dynamic, queryable asset.

Operating across a unified repository, LuminIQ allows teams to audit their exposure in minutes rather than weeks.

Whether a business needs to isolate ICT third-party contracts for DORA compliance, identify shifting ESG reporting obligations or assess supply chain risk from new tariffs, the platform structures contract data to be searchable on demand.

This evolution is particularly vital for mid-market teams tasked with executing enterprise-grade governance without an enterprise headcount.

By embedding an AI workforce directly into the lifecycle, governed by strict permissions and human oversight, Gatekeeper ensures that compliance is no longer a reactive scramble, but a continuous, demonstrable state of readiness.
