Webinar: Using AI to Deliver Real, Measurable Value

AI is no longer a mystery tool, with its ability to transform businesses on clear display for businesses across the world. Particularly procurement, which has seen the tool help elevate the processes through its ability to fundamentally transform the function.
But for some, the technology is still stuck in pilots. Coupa's Clarity AI Impact Report looked at why numerous large-scale AI initiatives fail to generate returns on investment. The research, conducted with Incisiv Research, surveyed more than 600 business leaders.
The pilot purgatory problem
It found that 72% of AI initiatives and projects remain stuck in pilot mode, with Coupa's analysis believing the primary obstacle isn't the technology itself but rather a significant gap in AI expertise amongst executives. This knowledge divide has created a strategic misalignment between leadership funding AI projects and implementation teams, resulting in initiatives that stall during pilot phases or never reach completion.
This is far from the entire picture, as Coupa itself reported that in Q3 of FY2026, it was able to save its customers almost US$15bn through its AI capabilities helping to drive this. In its September release, Coupa expanded its agentic AI capabilities, launching new Navi AI agents across sourcing, contracts, invoicing and analytics.
"Coupa's "network effect" is clear – quarter after quarter, we see many new customers come to Coupa to transform how they manage business spend using AI," says Leagh Turner, CEO of Coupa.
"At the same time, we have a growing network of large and small suppliers who are increasingly transacting with these buyers.
"In the past year, Coupa serviced over one million sourcing events that were fuelled by our AI-native platform. This was only possible because the Coupa platform leverages secure, structured, proprietary data for AI that allows a global buyer-supplier network to access intelligence and automation derived from actual transactions so we can deliver tangible value to our customers."
Real-world results: The Deliveroo transformation
Take Coupa's work with Deliveroo, which implemented a rapid, full-scale cost and digital procurement transformation that included implementing Coupa's source-to-pay (S2P) system and a company-wide risk management platform in just 13 months.
This transformation contributed to a wider improvement within the business, resulting in an 8% increase in revenue and adjusted EBITDA climbing 46% to £96m (US$130m), with major initiatives already in motion and the business on a strong growth trajectory.
In an on-demand webinar, procurement and sourcing leaders from Coupa and Accenture explore how AI is moving beyond pilots to deliver real, measurable value across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle.
Attendees will hear expert perspectives on why AI adoption often falls short, what successful organisations are doing differently and how agentic AI is redefining operating models through automation, intelligence and digital labour.
