Amazon Business: What is Amazon’s B2B Procurement Platform?
Amazon Business is the B2B procurement solution from Amazon that provides millions of products and services with specific business pricing. The familiar consumer site is extended to serve millions of business customers worldwide, with a flexible structure to all sizes of business.
The platform uses cloud technology to allow multiple users to manage spend from a central account. This encompasses guided buying for compliance, and advanced spend analytics, enabling businesses customers to save time and money.
Where in the world has access to Amazon Business?
Amazon Business is currently available to customers in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and India.

What is Amazon Business Prime?
After initially launching in the US in 2017, Amazon Business Prime is an extension of the procurement solution, Business Prime helps members visualise spend data and identify money-saving opportunities with Spend Visibility, as well as set policies to improve compliance and maximise their budget with Guided Buying.
The Business Prime procurement platform offers a range of extra features for business customers:
- Spend Visibility: Powered by AWS QuickSight, Spend Visibility gives spending visualisations in ready-to-present graphics. This gives customers the potential to free up the time it takes to download and analyse data and discover spending trends.
- Guided Buying: Guided Buying lets account administrators identify certain preferred suppliers and products, restrict certain categories of buying, offer improved insights for buyers greater into company policies, reduce rogue spending, and improve compliance.
- Extended Terms for Pay by Invoice: Qualifying customers can extend their payment terms to 45 or 60 days, depending on their Business Prime plan.
