In her role as Head of Procurement at Evercare Group, Schulz has been dedicated to creating a framework and strategy for procurement, focusing on impact investing. During her keynote, she highlights the importance of cost efficiencies, supply chain optimisation, and ESG initiatives.

"I have around 18 years of procurement experience now and I've transitioned between multiple industries such as hospitality, healthcare, and now private equity,” said Schulz. 

Procurement’s crucial role in private equity 

Concluding her keynote, Schulz discusses the importance of procurement in private equity to deliver financial performance and capital efficiencies. As well as its impact on governance, patient care, and environmental and social contributions. 

Schulz also emphasises the importance of tailoring the narrative to meet the expectations of various stakeholders, as well as the significance of risk management, compliance screening, and cost-efficiency opportunities in the due diligence process.
