Skanska USA, a leader in global construction and development, is introducing the Supply Chain Sustainability School to the US, marking a significant step in embedding sustainability within supply chains.
The initiative, which has already made an impact in the UK, Ireland and Australia over the past 13 years, has trained more than 137,000 individuals and engaged in excess of 30,000 companies.
The school operates as a collaborative platform, offering free training and resources that help businesses navigate sustainability challenges.
In bringing it to the US, Skanska aims to enhance industry-wide knowledge, create a more responsible supply chain and encourage supplier diversity in the construction sector.
Industry professionals across the country will have access to expert-led training, covering a range of critical topics, from reducing carbon emissions and improving waste management to promoting biodiversity and responsible sourcing.
By equipping businesses with the tools to align with evolving sustainability regulations, the school also supports long-term commercial success.

The Supply Chain Sustainability School is guided by a board of elected representatives from its founding partners, who oversee its strategic direction and governance. Each partner commits to a Code of Ethics, ensuring that sustainability principles remain at the core of the school’s content and leadership.
