How ISN is enriching Coca-Cola Consolidated’s Supply Chain
Coca-Cola Consolidated, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, is the largest Coca-Cola bottler in the US.
It produces, sells and distributes beverages from The Coca-Cola Company other partners in more than 300 brands and flavours across 14 states and the District of Columbia, reaching approximately 60 million consumers.
Now, the organisation has selected ISN, a global leader in contractor and supplier information, to serve as the primary contractor management system.
ISN will assist Coca-Cola Consolidated with site orientations for workers, desktop reviews of contractor compliance, documentation consolidation and acknowledgement, insurance and citation review.
ISN helps Coca-Cola Consolidated deliver on its mission
ISNetworld is a global online contractor and supplier management database that assists capital-intensive industries in connecting with safe and reliable contractors.
Among its existing portfolio of big-name clients are Cisco, Costco, Kraft Heinz and Procter & Gamble.
“It’s an important part of our culture and company mission to manage our operations in a way that protects the health and safety of our teammates and the communities in which we operate, while running facilities in an environmentally sound and safe manner,” says Matthew Wilcox, Director of Risk Control for Manufacturing at Coca-Cola Consolidated.
“Through this new partnership with ISN, we'll be better able to deliver on that mission while improving our ability to meet compliance requirements and continue providing best-in-class delivery of our iconic product.”
How ISN empowers the supply chain
Coca-Cola Consolidated chose ISNetworld for contractor management because of its comprehensive capabilities, ease of use and the strong customer support provided by ISN. It proved to be the best option for both employees and contractors.
Also included within its portfolio are tools such as Transparency-One, a responsible sourcing platform built to bring transparency to supply chain management, and Empower, a worker-level app designed to keep workers progressing.
ISN collects health and safety, procurement, insurance, quality, supply chain, sourcing and regulatory information from contractors and suppliers. It involves a level of due diligence in the supply chain management process through ISN’s Review and Verification Services (RAVS), with subject matter experts who review and verify contractor and supplier information.
Over the initial 12 months of the partnership, ISN will assist Coca-Cola Consolidated in implementing all its manufacturing facilities and integrating company and individual-level compliance requirements on the platform, as well as promoting adoption across its employee and contractor base.
“Coca-Cola Consolidated has been consistently evolving and improving for over a century and we are proud to play a role in its continued dedication to providing a safe workplace and ensuring that they meet compliance requirements,” adds Brittany Sizemore, VP of Manufacturing at ISN.
“We look forward to this partnership and building on a culture of safety for Coca-Cola Consolidated’s employees and contractor workforce.”
How ISN is harnessing AI
In 2023, ISN launched InsightAI, a new proprietary generative AI engine. InsightAI uses Gen AI to analyse data sets and classify and extract information based on identified patterns and themes.
This technology enables ISN customers to consume and synthesise large volumes of data more efficiently.
At its launch, Marie Anderson, Executive Vice President at ISN, said: “InsightAI accelerates the discovery of actionable trends and key findings for our customers by leveraging the latest generative AI models to quickly summarise large amounts of data, helping businesses implement targeted, sustainable and data-driven initiatives to improve safety.”
