Meet SC Johnson's New Chief Procurement Officer

Jamie Westfahl has announced via her LinkedIn profile that she has started as the Chief Procurement Officer at SC Johnson

From starting at BearingPoint back in 2001, Jamie Westfahl has been named as the Chief Procurement Officer at SC Johnson.

Throughout her career, Jamie has worked for Miller Brewing Company, MillerCoors and Molson Coors. Throughout that time, she has developed skills across procurement, with roles including, Senior Consultant and as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, which saw her responsible for managing a small team to develop category strategies, negotiate and manage spend across indirect categories, including IT services, hardware, software, consulting services and fleet.

Driving savings

During her time at MillerCoors, Jamie was responsible for managing a small team to drive category strategies and savings with advertising agencies, media agencies, sponsorships and market research firms, where her total spend influence ranging from US$800m to US$1bn.

Jamie spent eight years at Molson Coors, where she worked as the Senior Director of Global Procurement for Packaging. In this role, Jamie was responsible for managing US$3.5bn in spend, including all primary and secondary packaging materials across all regions.

She led a team of senior category managers to develop global category strategies and value optimisation projects that resulted in tens of millions of dollars in annual savings and other value. As well as leading a team of supply managers that managed supply continuity, supplier relationships and quality and service issue escalation in the US region.

She was then named as the Vice President and Head of Procurement, a role she held for just over five years. As the head of procurement, Jamie led a 100-person procurement team responsible for billions in spend across all direct and indirect categories.

Reflecting on her time at the company, Jamie adds: "I have had the honour to be mentored by some amazing leaders, the pleasure to work with exceptional peers, the benefit of doing business with great suppliers and the privilege to lead an incredible procurement team.

"Thank you to each of you. Thank you for the wins and lessons along the way, thank you for the memories and laughs and most of all thank you for the friendship. I have had a career at Molson Coors beyond my greatest expectations and I will forever be grateful."
