Webinar on Demand: How AI & CLM is Transforming Procurement

In an exclusive webinar, which is now available on demand, Agiloft and Procurement Magazine explored the transition of AI and CLM from perceived competitors to a unified technology stack that strengthens procurement outcomes, mitigates risk and drives operational efficiency.
Those who attended discovered how AI and CLM work better together. While AI automates complex workflows and uncovers hidden insights, CLM provides the structured framework needed to turn those insights into strategic moves. Learn how top procurement teams are leveraging this powerful combo to optimise sourcing and drive massive value.
Redefining procurement through technology
There were a number of key takeaways from the session, with the five biggest being on AI in Procurement:
- Driving Procurement Efficiency: The session underscored how AI and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) enhance procurement practices by automating tedious processes, reducing costs and improving supplier risk management. Systems like Agiloft were highlighted for their ability to centralise data and allow tailored accessibility for different roles.
- Addressing Integration Pain Points: Speakers shared challenges in integrating AI functionalities across disconnected systems. While standalone AI tools like ChatGPT offer quick solutions, fragmented workflows can prolong tasks, suggesting the need for truly cohesive systems.
- Adopting AI Strategically: The discussion emphasised that AI complements existing tools but won't fix broken processes without proper workflow assessments. Speakers recommended mapping pain points and ensuring a seamless blend of technologies to avoid overbuying redundant software.
- Procurement's Shift to Proactivity: Traditionally reactive, procurement is now required to anticipate challenges and demonstrate organisational value beyond cost savings. AI's data-driven insights play a pivotal role in enabling this shift despite limited headcount.
- C-Suite Pressure to Implement AI: Panelists noted increasing mandates from leadership to adopt AI technologies comprehensively, but warned about rushing without clear objectives. Evaluating what functionalities the organisation already has and strategically integrating AI were advised to optimise tech stacks.
