Sam has almost 20 years of experience in industry and management consulting across financial services, pharmaceuticals and consumer packaged goods, driving transformation across sourcing, operations, sustainability and quality teams for both direct and indirect categories.
Sam has a passion for thinking big about how digital and procurement skills of the future will bring long-term, sustainable and mutual growth.
Before Mars, he held procurement roles at GSK, Barclays and Kearney.
During the event, Sam will be taking part in The Risk & Resilience Forum. He will explore how leading organisations are responding – rapidly, strategically and decisively – to disruptive forces in the supply chain.
Jarrod Glover, Director of Cost Management and Procurement at Santander UK
Jarrod Glover is a seasoned procurement executive with over 15 years of experience leading commercial and procurement functions across the financial services and facilities management sectors.
Currently serving as Director of Cost Management and Procurement at Santander UK, Jarrod is at the forefront of transforming procurement into a strategic, value-driving function.
Since joining Santander in 2014, Jarrod has held several senior roles, including Director of Procurement and Head of Procurement Capabilities and Transformation.
He has led the digitalisation of procurement processes, championed responsible sourcing and embedded robust third-party risk management frameworks.
His leadership has been instrumental in building a high-performing team that delivers sustainable value and aligns procurement strategy with broader business goals.
Before Santander, Jarrod held commercial leadership roles at EMCOR Facilities Services and Carillion, managing large-scale supplier portfolios and transformation initiatives.
Jarrod’s expertise spans cost optimisation, ERP integration, supplier innovation and stakeholder engagement, and he is widely recognised for his ability to drive operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
