Coupa Inspire's 2026 agenda features over 70 specialised sessions designed for procurement leaders
Procurement leaders head to Las Vegas to leverage US$9tn in community data and debut autonomous AI agents that turn global spend into a competitive weapon

With shifting geopolitical landscapes and strict ESG mandates, procurement is no longer just a corporate function, it is a strategic shield.

As the industry prepares to gather at the ARIA Las Vegas from 11–14 May, Coupa Inspire 2026 invites CPOs and sourcing leaders to move beyond transactional purchasing and embrace the era of agentic procurement.

This year’s theme, ‘The Network Effect’, explores the synergy between AI-native technology and a two-sided community fueled by US$9tn in shared transactional data. In a volatile economy, the event provides the definitive blueprint to turn every contract and supplier discovery into a calculated strategic advantage.

Navigating the shift to autonomous action

The headline of the 2026 programme is the leap from passive management to autonomous action. With the debut of the Navi Agent Studio, attendees will witness how autonomous agents can execute high-stakes tactical tasks, such as supplier vetting and requisition triage, allowing human teams to focus on high-stakes value capture.

"Trade is no longer a series of isolated acts, it’s a living, interdependent system," notes the Inspire 2026 vision.

By turning the world’s largest spend dataset into shared intelligence, Coupa is helping organisations move beyond simple automation to fundamentally change the nature of work.

Procurement Track: From cost center to competitive weapon

The 2026 agenda features over 70 specialised sessions designed to eliminate contract leakage and ensure 100% compliance. Key highlights for the procurement track include:

  • Smart Intake & Orchestration: Synchrony Financial will demonstrate how they use "Smart Intake" as the digital front door for all third-party demand, automatically routing requests into the right procurement, risk and payment paths.
  • Velocity-First Sourcing: The GAP procurement team will share their "breakneck" journey, moving from the launch of Coupa Sourcing Optimisation (CSO) to running advanced, high-impact auctions in just 14 days.
  • Logistics Transformation: Jabil will reveal how they shifted from manual Excel-based analysis to automated scenario modeling, reducing sourcing cycles by a month and delivering US$13m in savings across three sourcing events.

Beyond the AI hype

While AI promises transformational results, most organisations struggle with adoption rates that stall below 30%. At Inspire, Amanda Prochaska, Founder of Wonder Services, will unveil the ALICE leadership framework and RAE methodology.

These strategies focus on "people-first" transformation, showing how to bridge the gap between AI investment and measurable business impact through real-world Fortune 500 case studies.

Similarly, Liliana Reznic, Head of Procurement at Tebra Technologies, will present a case study on building a high-impact procurement programme from the ground up in decentralised environments.

Her session focuses on shifting the perception of procurement from "gatekeeper" to "trusted advisor" by using transparency and quick wins to accelerate stakeholder trust.

Global expertise and technical blueprints

The MainStage will feature a blend of corporate expertise and industry titans. Keynote sessions include leadership from Nike on scaling sustainable sourcing and Nasdaq on governing financial transparency through AI-native visibility.

For those looking for "under-the-hood" blueprints, Tracey Cranz of Carnival Corporation will pull back the curtain on the technical orchestration of a Global Sourcing Center of Excellence (COE). Managing a fleet of 90+ ships across nine brands, Tracey will detail how to maintain technical consistency and "unity without uniformity" using standardised sourcing templates and centralised support models.

From Wawa reaching a US$1bn spend milestone in record time to Glencore shifting from project teams to true platform ownership, Coupa Inspire 2026 is the definitive event for those ready to lead the agentic revolution.
