Talk me through the relationship between KPMG and JAGGAER
We forged this relationship about four or five years ago as JAGGAER pivoted to a partner-first implementation capability.
KPMG supports with the implementation of JAGGAER. We engage with clients and provide them with business guidance. We've got certified resources on our side that have the capability to deploy the various modules that JAGGAER has.
When it comes to implementation is there a secret or model you apply to achieve success?
We've got a standard methodology on how we do these deployments. I'd say that's kind of our secret sauce.
I think all things said and done, there's a component of it which is deploying the technology. The way we lead these deployments is very outcome-focused. What is the outcome or the business outcomes the client is looking to drive?
Then we guide our clients and work with JAGGAER to take that client through the journey. And with it comes things like change management, where you need to get the inside business users ramped up so there's the adoption, there's the right metrics and the right business outcomes.
Similarly, there's the external component with suppliers and how we enable those suppliers.
What makes the relationship between KPMPG and JAGGAER so successful?
For a successful relationship to be in place, I'd say trust and being transparent with each other is the number-one item. We've enjoyed that with JAGGAER. There's an ecosystem of relationships that JAGGAER has and an ecosystem of technologies that I manage in my portfolio.
So, being open, honest and transparent with each other as we engage on accounts is probably the foundational pillar to a successful partnership.
From there, other facets become a lot easier, such as co-innovation and identifying opportunities for our clients.
The philosophy for us at KPMG is oriented towards what the client needs, rather than forcing a module or a specific technology. Our orientation is very much around outcomes the client is looking to drive and if JAGGAER is a good fit for that type of client.
What's the benefit of being at JAGGAER REV2025 in person?
There's a lot of learning. Technology is continuing to evolve at a very rapid pace. Some of the features JAGGAER released at this conference are new even to us, let alone the customers.
I think what JAGGAER is starting to do in the AI space, the evolution of the direct procurement suite β those are of very high interest to us. That's where we are working with JAGGAER and those are the solutions we're taking to the client. So, I'd say education is probably the number-one facet.
Itβs always good to see energy. We feed off each other's energy. That human contact, that human relationship. Even with the JAGGAER folks we see on Teams and Zoom, we're now able to make that contact and advance deals and have some good conversations.
