An exclusive webinar reveals how a unified operating model and AI-first transactional intelligence drive real-time visibility and autonomous spend control

As teams grow at scale at a rapid pace, there is a fear that finance, procurement and IT teams can become trapped in a web of fragmented systems.

This is compounded by issues such as manual workflows, siloed teams and blind spots within spend visibility. These all present a range of challenges – from delayed payments to frequent errors and limited budget control.

The challenge is further compounded by growing technology estates. As organisations adopt specialist finance, procurement and IT applications, data becomes fragmented across multiple platforms, creating a phenomenon often referred to as "tool sprawl". This lack of integration not only limits spend visibility but also fuels shadow spend, duplicate software subscriptions and manual reconciliation efforts.

For leaders seeking greater agility, the priority is no longer simply digitisation but connecting systems, teams and data into a unified operating model.

Coupa and Rossum are hosting an exclusive webinar on this subject, titled The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility, taking place on June 17, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM BST.

AI-driven innovation in spend management

A number of solutions are available for teams looking to eradicate these issues, but many would argue the leaders in this space are Coupa and Rossum. Partners since 2024, it was announced at Coupa Inspire this year that the spend management leaders would be acquiring Rossum.

This expands on their partnership, which already automates complex AP invoicing, to bring IDP capabilities to the entire Coupa portfolio, driving autonomous spend management through agentic AI.

While customers already benefit from Rossum’s embedded AP capabilities within Coupa, they can now scale that value across all direct and indirect spend. Powered by a specialised Transactional Large Language Model (T-LLM), Rossum’s expanded IDP technology delivers faster processing, substantial cost savings and total control over complex invoicing data.

Speaking when the acquisition was announced, Leagh Turner, Coupa CEO, said: “Rossum changes the game entirely. As a strong partner since 2024, we know there is incredible value in bringing the two companies together across the entire source-to-pay function.

“The combined value of Coupa and Rossum has been proven in AP and invoicing, and we see massive future value in applying Rossum’s T-LLM and AI-first technology across the Coupa platform. We’ve been able to deliver over US$300bn in customer savings over the past 20 years. With Rossum, we believe we can help them save the next $300 billion in five with a system of decision and intelligence that is unrivaled.”

Rossum replaces outdated OCR with a purpose-built, AI-first architecture. Powered by a proprietary model trained on tens of millions of documents, its transactional intelligence continuously learns from unique data to deliver rapid time-to-value.

Driving efficiency: The Eurowag success story

The duo worked alongside Accenture to support Eurowag, which looked to resolve its fragmented manual workflows and siloed operations caused by rapid corporate acquisitions.

The London-based commercial mobility and financial solutions provider Eurowag standardised its procure-to-pay processes using Coupa. By replacing disjointed invoice workflows with automated AP solutions and Contract Lifecycle Management across its 2,000-employee footprint, the company established 100% standardised AP processes groupwide, unlocking complete real-time spend visibility.

This overhaul driven by automated 3-way matching significantly strengthened financial controls to prevent fraud and overpayments. As a result, Eurowag improved its paid-on-time performance by 30% and drastically elevated compliance and audit readiness. According to Marcella Mathes, Head of Finance Processes and Digital Finance at Eurowag, the ultimate impact of the transformation is clear: “Coupa provides a clear, traceable link between purchase orders, receipts and invoices — supporting finance and compliance with a reliable audit trail.”

Now, professionals will have the chance to hear from those involved in this effort during an exclusive webinar as they break down the collaborative strategy that modernised Eurowag’s operations. Attendees will discover how they built a standardised, end-to-end AP process and used AI automation to establish a "single source of truth" for all spend data.

The webinar will cover:

  • The transformation strategy: How Eurowag shifted from reactive, manual firefighting to proactive, real-time spend management.
  • The power of integration: A deep dive into the unified Coupa and Rossum ecosystem, and how Accenture designed a core model scalable across 60 global entities.
  • Tangible business outcomes: How Eurowag achieved a 70% automation rate, slashed processing time from nine days to just four and boosted on-time payments to over 90%.
  • Scaling for the future: A first look at their 2026 roadmap, focusing on advanced AI strategies and centralised global supplier contracts.

Finance, procurement and IT leaders looking for a practical blueprint to eliminate operational friction and build a data-driven foundation for global growth should attend.
