Specialised AI agents
In recent months, Zip announced its intention to provide procurement teams with no fewer than 50 purpose-built AI agents, harnessing the company's agentic AI suite for procurement.
It's hoped these agents will help practitioners eliminate millions of hours of tedious, manual work that continues to plague departments across the enterprise – from tariff assessments to contract reviews, compliance checks and more.
The launch saw Zip welcome agentic procurement orchestration, a new category which automates the entire purchasing process – giving large organisations an edge amid ongoing uncertainty.
