Held at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Copenhagen, the ProcureCon Indirect Europe 2019 conference will take place tomorrow (April 2-3, 2019) and feature the leading minds from the global procurement space.

Here are three of the industry thought leaders sharing their insight at the event.

Jan Fokke Van Den Bosch, CPO, HSBC

Jan Fokke Van Den Bosch is responsible for the global procurement department at HSBC, a role he has held since March 2016, overseeing a team of 800 onshore and 600 offshore.

He is scheduled to give an opening address at nine AM on Tuesday, which will welcome attendees and cover the subjects: How can you create a business to business environment? How can procurement facilitate the role of digital buying to ensure faster, and better cost benefits? How can you make your procurement function more strategic? And how can transparency across the business improve your buying power?

Marco Romano, Chief Procurement Data & Analytics Officer, IBM

With over 20 years experience in the procurement space, Romano is responsible for the global procurement data, analytics and cognitive strategy and implementation.

He is scheduled to speak on Tuesday morning, giving a presentation on ways in which procurement officers can influence their stakeholders to see procurement as a value generator that makes the right new investments to achieve business excellence whilst driving cost-savings.

Michelle Baker, CPO, KPN

Baker joined KPN, a market-leading ICT and telecommunications firm in the Netherlands, in 2017, where her role focuses on increasing the value procurement brings to the company. Baker is scheduled to speak at two presentations on Tuesday, covering “Winning the hearts and minds of your business”, and “becoming a life-long learner”,
