Mastercard Foundation is a philanthropic organisation founded in 2006, following the Mastercard, Inc. IPO. Their mission is to advance education and economic self-reliance in developing countries. Affiliated with a wide range of local partners within Africa and Canada, Mastercard Foundation is also collaborating with other philanthropies as well as public and private entities with shared vision and objectives.
