Sphere Wars! Coupa’s Cheeky Swipe at Rival SAP Raises Laughs
S2P company Coupa Software Inc is raising laughs – and eyebrows – with its advert that amounts to a gentle dismissal of its rival SAP.
Timed to coincide with SAP Spend Connect in Las Vegas, Coupa placed a giant ad on The Sphere, saying: ‘Coupa: Make Margins Multiply – Don’t be diSAPpointed.”
Coupa’s Chief Procurement Officer Michael van Keulen posted a photo of The Sphere on LinkedIn, saying: “Coming at you live from The Sphere in Las Vegas. No comment needed.”
