Identity security corporation SailPoint will soon acquire non-human identity and Agentic AI management Entro to increase its current business practices in the digital ecosystem.

SailPoint’s purchase of Entro will coincide with the company’s new Agentic Fabric security platform which provides identity security, comprehensive visibility, governance and real-time responses to secure agentic workforces in the world of AI and digital landscapes.

SailPoint’s integration with Entro

Mark McClain, CEO and Founder of SailPoint, says: “The recent launch of our Agentic Fabric established a new paradigm for securing autonomous AI agents and non-human identities at scale, including native discovery, governance and protection.

“By bringing Entro’s powerful and complimentary technology into our SailPoint platform, we will be giving our customers an even bigger advantage: frictionless, complete visibility into every non-human identity and, crucially, the context and credentials they use to access critical corporate data.”

Following the finalisation of the agreement, Entro is set to equip SailPoint with agentless visibility into specialised tools, alongside native identity intelligence and proprietary Non-Human Identity Detection and Response (NHIDR) functionality.

The integration will deliver comprehensive discovery and credential coverage, including pre-configured support for over 1,000 NHI/agent types and the identification of more than 1,200 credential varieties. Key deliverables from this partnership include deep contextual insights, human ownership attribution and active protection through real-time detection.

“We built Entro with a clear mission: to secure the modern cloud by discovering and protecting the sheer volume of credentials and non-human identities powering it,” says Itzik Alvas, Co-Founder and CEO of Entro.

“As enterprises embrace more automation and agentic workloads, this massive identity layer is only becoming more critical to protect.

“We are excited to integrate our deep, seamless discovery and lineage mapping engine into SailPoint's comprehensive identity security framework and Agentic Fabric. I believe that together, our combined non-human and AI capabilities will supercharge SailPoint's proven ability to secure every identity, human and non-human, across the global enterprise landscape.”

SailPoint says upon completion of the pending acquisition, customers will enjoy an even broader level of visibility, ownership attribution and control. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of fiscal year 2027.

SailPoint’s Agentic Fabric platform

In May, SailPoint launched Agentic Fabric to offer organizations the visibility required to manage both AI agents and non-human identities with full autonomy over their existing systems and data.

Matt Mills, President at SailPoint adds: “AI agents are transforming how work gets done, but they're also introducing a new class of identity risk that most organisations aren't prepared for.

“You cannot secure what you cannot see, or what you cannot tie back to accountability. Agentic Fabric gives organisations the visibility, control and context to keep autonomous agents secure, accountable and connected to a human owner.”

Agentic Fabric is built around the following concepts:

  • Empowering secure AI innovation Identity-centric security through platforms that unfies all identities, human and non-human
  • Full-spectrum visibility which discovers and maps all agent identities
  • Real-time governance that extend controls and dictate privilege and creates proactive protection with AI monitoring and automated, machine-speed response

Each principal allows agents to operate under secure elements within the digital landscape. SailPoint provides security solutions to 53% of Fortune 500 companies including GM, Hershey, The Home Depot and The Salvation Army.
