Procurement chief joins Clayton, Dublier & Rice
Private investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has appointed Marta Benedek as European Director of Procurement Program.
Benedek will work with supply chain and procurement leaders at the firm’s European portfolio companies to create value through optimised supply chains.
She joins after a 20-year career at General Electric, bringing expertise in establishing low-cost suppliers in emerging regions, strategic negotiations, new product launches and supply chain operations.
“Marta is a highly skilled executive with a record of leading critical supply chain initiatives, enabling more competitive supply options, and rapid product innovation introduction,” said David Novak, CD&R Head of European business.
“I am excited to be working closely with CD&R’s investment team and portfolio companies to help navigate an increasingly complex supply chain and procurement environment,” said Benedek.
UK building firm AG hires procurement manager
UK building products firm AG has appointed Lisa Fenner as Group Procurement Manager. She has been in procurement for 20 years, and will be responsible for all AG purchasing activities.
“Lisa is a highly motivated self-starter with a solid background in purchasing, operations management and project sourcing,” said an AG spokesperson. “We’re delighted to have her on board.”
scoutbee unveils chief product officer
scoutbee, the AI-driven supplier insights and discovery platform, has unveiled Mikael Söderberg as its new Chief Product & Technology Officer.
Söderberg will lead all product, technology and engineering teams in their mission to help suppliers find and manage data. He joins scoutbee as part of its expanded investment into transformational products to support supplier scouting, supply market assessment and RFI processes.
Stanford University educated Söderberg has held senior management positions at Luxoft, LG Electronics, and most recently was CTO at micro-mobility unicorn, Voi Technology.

New bid manager for Prological Consulting
Australia-based supply chain consultancy Prological Consulting has appointed Kelly Borskjaer as Bid and Brand Manager.
Prological Consulting designs and implements supply chain, energy and business strategy solutions across all key industries in Australia and New Zealand.
Borskjaer has previously worked in the engineering, manufacturing and consulting sectors across the APAC region.
“Kelly’s extensive background and experience in bid and brand management will play a key role in ensuring we’re well-placed to continue to provide our clients with the very best service in supply chain consulting,” said Peter Jones, Founder and Managing Director at Prological Consulting.
