New Oracle Partnership Strengthens Canadian Procurement

Oracle Fusion Cloud has appointed digital consulting firm CloudAvanti as an approved provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and Application Managed Services (AMS) through the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada's ERP Programme.

The partnership expands procurement options for public sector organisations looking to modernise their enterprise systems while increasing access to Oracle Fusion Cloud's AI-powered capabilities. Through the platform, organisations can automate manual tasks, enhance reporting and improve analytics and gain greater visibility into business operations.

The Canoe ERP Programme forms part of the Canada Enterprise Resource Planning Programme, providing eligible members with access to pre-qualified ERP software providers and implementation partners through an established procurement framework.

By streamlining the procurement process, organisations can adopt cloud technologies more efficiently while reducing the complexity typically associated with large-scale digital transformation projects.

Supporting Canada's public sector

The Canoe Procurement Group of Canada is one of the country's leading public sector purchasing organisations, supporting more than 6,000 municipalities, public sector entities and not-for-profit organisations. Through collective purchasing agreements, members gain access to vetted suppliers, competitive pricing and simplified procurement processes.

The programme is available to participating organisations across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon.

CloudAvanti's inclusion on the ERP Programme provides members with an additional approved supplier for both Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation and long-term managed services, giving organisations greater flexibility when planning ERP modernisation projects.

Beyond implementation, the partnership is designed to support organisations throughout the lifecycle of their Oracle Cloud deployments. The Canoe ERP framework guides members from defining business requirements and preparing a scope of work through to selecting ERP software, implementation partners and finalising procurement agreements.

Furthermore, Uber Canada is backing the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) to launch an upgraded Indigenous Procurement Marketplace, expanding digital commerce avenues for Indigenous communities.

This marketplace connects Certified Indigenous Businesses (CIBs) with corporations and organizations dedicated to Indigenous procurement.
