Exiger has won the Supply Chain Innovation Award at The Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards 2024.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Procurement Magazine and Supply Chain Digital in this year’s Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards. We appreciate their work to spotlight exemplary partnerships and technologies in our space,” said Exiger CEO Brandon Daniels. “The inspiration behind our every innovation is our customers and we certainly share in this accomplishment with them.”

In a rapidly evolving landscape of supply chain risks, Exiger has emerged as a trailblazer in innovative risk management solutions.

The New York-based firm has rewritten the supply chain playbook, moving beyond traditional approaches to develop cutting-edge technologies and strategies.

At the heart of Exiger's innovation is 1Exiger, a pioneering single sign-on platform that offers an intuitive user experience for supply chain management. This solution empowers users to make informed decisions without fear of overlooking critical risks.

The company has also broadened the industry's risk perspective, shifting from a narrow focus on suppliers and parts to a comprehensive view of entire value chains.

Exiger's commitment to innovation is evident in its substantial investment in research and development, with 32% of annual revenue allocated to R&D.

This investment has yielded impressive results, including the development of the world's largest supply chain data network and the launch of Proactive Intelligence, an advanced AI capability that predicts future supply chain crises.

The company's efforts have garnered significant attention, securing a US$1.2bn majority investment from The Carlyle Group, Insight Partners and JMI in December 2023. This landmark investment underscores the industry's confidence in Exiger's innovative approach to supply chain risk management.

Exiger's solutions have delivered tangible benefits to its clients, including over US$1bn in cost savings amidst inflationary pressures.

The company's technology has been deployed to 550+ customers, including 150+ Fortune 500 companies and 55+ government and Defence Industrial Base clients.

Beyond financial metrics, Exiger has demonstrated a commitment to social responsibility. The firm has partnered with NGOs like Slave Free Alliance and Hope for Justice, offering its technology pro bono to combat human rights abuses in supply chains.

This holistic approach to supply chain innovation, combining technological advancement with social impact, positions Exiger as a leader in shaping the future of supply chain risk management.

Highly Commended: Saudi Ministry of Health & Qalara

In a remarkable showcase of supply chain innovation, two companies have demonstrated significant advancements in their respective sectors. The Saudi Ministry of Health's Supply Chain Department has developed a comprehensive Control Centre to monitor and manage end-to-end supply chain processes across 300 hospitals and 2,122 primary health centres in the Kingdom.

Over two years, the Ministry implemented several cutting-edge systems, including an AI-driven platform for predicting shortages and automating stock transfers between hospitals.

This initiative has yielded impressive results, with surgery cancellations due to supply shortages dropping to less than 0.05%. The Ministry also reports a substantial increase in scheduled surgical procedures, rising from 4,000 to 12,000 per week over three years.

Meanwhile, Qalara, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has taken innovative steps to address global supply chain challenges in the artisanal products sector.

The company has curated a catalogue of 100,000+ responsibly produced items from ethical sellers, emphasising values such as sustainability and fair trade. Qalara's unique 'Livemark' initiative employs QR codes to provide buyers with video content detailing the craftsmanship behind each product, enhancing transparency and authenticity.

Qalara's efforts have led to measurable improvements, including a doubling of their On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) metrics in the last financial year, achieving a 98.9% value fill rate. The company has also positively impacted 125,000 artisans by connecting them with global markets across 55+ countries.

Both organisations have leveraged technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The Saudi Ministry of Health integrated multiple data sources to enhance operational efficiency, while Qalara developed a Freight Calculator to optimise shipments and reduce costs by up to 30%.

These innovations highlight the potential for technology-driven solutions to address complex supply chain challenges across diverse sectors.
