As the global leader in wearable AR experiences for cultural & heritage tourism, ARtGlass uses advanced AR glasses to blend immersive visuals with real-word environments, creating unforgettable experiences that bring history to life
Where Innovation Meets Cultural Heritage through Immersive AR

ARtGlass reshapes how people connect with history and culture by harnessing the transformative power of Augmented Reality (AR). We blend cutting-edge technology with captivating stories of the past, creating immersive experiences that bring history vividly to life. Whether they are exploring ancient ruins or wandering through modern museums, visitors are treated to entertaining and evocative experiences designed by ARtGlass.

What We Do

ARtGlass provides software and services for historic sites, museums, and attractions, enabling them to transform their visitor experience. Our proprietary TourBuilder platform allows us to craft unique, interactive experiences tailored to the specific stories of each site. We are best known for our groundbreaking wearable experiences, deployed on hands-free, transparent smartglasses, and we also design tours for tablets and cell phones. During our wearable tours, visitors don smartglasses that overlay AR content onto real-world settings, transforming how they interact with historic sites. Picture standing on a historic battlefield and witnessing key moments come to life, or walking through an ancient palace and hearing the voices of its past residents. Our experiences are memorable, educational, immersive, and cutting-edge.

Our Vision

We believe in making history accessible, immersive, and engaging and are leveraging AR technology to transform the future of cultural tourism. ARtGlass collaborates globally with cultural institutions and heritage sites to ensure that history is experienced, not merely observed. Whether at Hegra, Pompeii, or other iconic locations, we bring the world's stories to life.

Hegra: An Example of Our Groundbreaking Work

In November 2023, ARtGlass launched a 2-hour Extended Reality (XR) tour at Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage site. Developed in partnership with the Royal Commission for AlUla and NOUS Digital, the Hegra Alive experience is reshaping cultural tourism at the ancient archaeological site. Visitors don wearable smartglasses featuring overlays of 3D visuals, holograms, and reenactments, allowing them to explore the Nabataean city’s tombs and ceremonial spaces in a new way. Guided by local Rawis, this project supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for sustainable tourism and was the first XR experience on smartglasses in the Middle East.
