Accenture acquires The Shelby Group

Accenture have confirmed the acquisition of The Shelby Group with the aim of expanding their sourcing and procurement transformation abilities

Accenture are a leading world-wide professional services company that helps organisations optimise their operations and accelerate their growth and performance.  They are confirming the acquisition of The Shelby Group, a leading provider of digital procurement and optimization services. The acquisition further enhances Accenture’s capabilities in sourcing and procurement technology transformation. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Who is The Shelby Group?

Founded in 2002 with headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois, The Shelby Group is a procurement technology consultancy with experience in Coupa and Ivalua solutions. It helps clients in the manufacturing, financial services, consumer, healthcare and technology sectors transform their procurement operations by increasing spend visibility and task automation and decreasing cost and risk. The Shelby Group’s team will join the Connected Solutions group within Accenture Technology, bolstering its position as a Coupa Global Elite partner and growing its relationship with Ivalua.
